Our Team
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page.
Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, especially at first, and it’s okay not to have everything figured out. This is a space where clients are met with care, curiosity, and respect. Therapy moves at a pace that feels comfortable, focusing on building understanding, fostering growth, and gently working toward a life that feels more balanced, supported, and manageable

Christina Casavant-Towers, M.Ed., LMHC (She/Her)
Founder & Clinical Director, Charismatic Counseling Services

As the Founder and Clinical Director of Charismatic Counseling Services, Christina brings both clinical expertise and strong leadership to her work. Licensed in Massachusetts and Maine, she is deeply committed to building a practice rooted in compassion, integrity, and high-quality, client-centered care.

Christina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology, from Bridgewater State University. Her early professional experiences in residential counseling and correctional settings shaped her understanding of systemic challenges and reinforced her dedication to helping individuals navigate meaningful change. She later obtained a certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston and earned her Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in geriatrics from Cambridge College.

As a trauma-certified clinician, Christina has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and neurodivergence. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and is especially affirming of neurodivergent individuals and those seeking a therapist who meets them where they are—without judgment or pressure to fit a certain mold.

Her Leadership Philosophy

Christina believes that effective leadership in mental health begins with modeling the same principles she brings into the therapy room: empathy, collaboration, authenticity, and respect. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive clinical environment where both clients and clinicians feel valued, heard, and empowered.
Her vision for Charismatic Counseling Services is to create a space where healing feels accessible, personalized, and sustainable—never one-size-fits-all.
Clinical Approach
Christina’s therapeutic style is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each individual’s needs. She integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while maintaining a strong person-centered foundation.
She works alongside clients to identify patterns, build practical coping strategies, and foster meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Christina believes therapy does not have to feel heavy to be effective and thoughtfully incorporates humor and authenticity into her work when appropriate.
